Telecom & Media

A sector that meets at a handful of very large international shows, where presence is expensive and the meeting diary decides the return.

The shape of the work

Telecom and media do their business at a small number of enormous exhibitions. Space is contested, costs are high, and the value is almost entirely in the meetings held rather than the visitors passing.

We plan the presence around the diary — who you need to meet, where the meeting happens, and what happens to the record afterwards.

What this sector needs from an agency

  • Early space negotiation and position strategy
  • Executive meeting diary management
  • Private meeting space within the stand
  • Dedicated connectivity for demonstrations
  • Hospitality and off-floor venues
  • Lead capture and same-day CRM sync

Sector reality

Four things that decide the plan.

01

Space at the major shows is contested a year out

Position, size and neighbours are negotiated early and rarely improve later. Late entry means a worse position at a higher price.

02

The meeting diary is the return

Private rooms, scheduled appointments, briefed attendees and a follow-up that starts the same day. Footfall past the stand is not the metric.

03

Executive time is the scarce resource

Senior attendance is limited and heavily scheduled. Their diary is built first and the rest of the presence fits around it.

04

Demonstrations need real connectivity

Dedicated links rather than hall wifi, with a fallback. At the largest shows the network is the most contested resource on the floor.
