Airlift, hotel capacity, ground and season — in that order, and before anyone falls in love with a photograph.
Access and airlift
Zayed International (AUH) has good long-haul coverage, and Dubai’s airports are roughly 90 minutes by road — many groups fly into DXB and transfer.
Hotels and capacity
Strong five-star inventory, with Yas Island offering several large properties within walking distance of each other and the arena.
Ground and distance
Straightforward. Wide roads, short transfers within Yas or the Corniche, and 60–90 minutes to Dubai depending on the hour.
Season and calendar
October to April. The Formula 1 weekend in the autumn removes hotel availability across the emirate — check the date before committing.
