London Deep supply, global airlift, and a venue for any brief
From a 20,000-square-metre exhibition hall to a livery hall for forty, with the suppliers to match.
The honest version
London’s advantage is range. Almost any brief has a credible venue answer, the supplier market is deep enough to be genuinely competitive, and five airports mean your delegates can get here from anywhere.
The constraints are cost and logistics. Load-in windows in central London are tight and heavily regulated, and hotel rates in peak weeks are high enough to reshape a budget.
Best suited to
- International exhibitions and congresses
- Financial and professional services events
- Product launches and press events
- Awards and gala evenings in heritage venues

Operating notes
What actually decides whether London works for you.
Airlift, hotel capacity, ground and season — in that order, and before anyone falls in love with a photograph.
Access and airlift
Heathrow, Gatwick, City, Stansted and Luton between them cover essentially every market, with Eurostar to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.
Hotels and capacity
Very deep but expensive; large blocks are easier around ExCeL and the airports than in the centre.
Ground and distance
Public transport is the sensible answer for most delegate movement. Coaches face congestion charging, ULEZ and limited stopping — plan drop-offs precisely.
Season and calendar
Year-round. September to November and March to June are busiest. August is quieter and better value.

Other Europe options.
Worth comparing side by side before you commit — the differences that matter are rarely the ones in the brochures.
Paris
One of the world’s largest exhibition estates, alongside venues that make an incentive programme feel like a reward.
EuropeBCNBarcelona
Two major fairgrounds, a seafront convention centre and an incentive offer within walking distance of the plenary.
EuropeLISLisbon
Congress capacity, good value by western European standards, and a city that flatters a programme.
