Delegate Management & Registration
Registration journeys, approval rules, communications, QR check-in, badge printing, session capacity and a helpdesk that answers — designed as one delegate experience.
Registration is where an event first meets its audience, and it is usually treated as a form. It is not a form. It is the decision about who is allowed in which room, what the badge has to say, which approvals a manager must give, how capacity is controlled and what happens at the door when someone turns up who is not on the list.
We design that logic first and build the journey second, then walk it as a delegate would before it goes live. On the day, check-in is fast because the thinking was done in advance.

Categories decide everything downstream
Employee, customer, partner, press, speaker, exhibitor, VIP. Each has a different approval path, a different badge, a different set of rooms and a different data requirement. Getting the categories right at the start prevents the door queue that forms when three hundred people need a decision made about them individually.
Collect only what the programme needs
Every extra field costs completion rate and creates a data obligation. We ask for what the operation genuinely uses — travel, dietary, accessibility, session choice — and nothing collected because it might be interesting.
Plan the exception route
Someone will always arrive unregistered, with the wrong name, or as a substitution nobody logged. A staffed exception desk beside the self-scan lanes keeps that person out of the main queue and gets them a badge in ninety seconds.
The head count on the dashboard is the head count at the door
Registration and attendance are the same record, not two systems reconciled afterwards. Re-scanning a badge does not create a second person, and session capacity is enforced at the door rather than discovered when the room is full.
What you get
Deliverables, not intentions.
These are the artefacts that exist at the end of this workstream. If one of them is missing from a proposal you have received elsewhere, it is worth asking why.
