The honest version
Amsterdam is one of the most practical European congress destinations: RAI is a serious venue with hotels attached, Schiphol is twenty minutes away and connects almost everywhere, and English is the working language of the entire supply chain.
The limitation is the city itself. It is small, popular and tightly regulated, so hotel capacity and vehicle access are more constrained than the venue capacity suggests.

Excellent rail and tram. Coaches face restricted access and limited stopping in the centre; canal-side venues need careful drop-off planning.

March to June and September to November. Major congress weeks and tulip season compress hotel availability.
